WHAT IS KAMAKABIN?

KAMAKABIN is a minimal house brand that produces prefabricated modules in timber frame construction. Every close-to-nature new building should incorporate itself into its natural surroundings and respect the environment. By "close-to-nature new building" we mean a house that is designed and built in harmony with its natural surroundings. It blends seamlessly into the landscape while minimising environmental impact. The KUKIN model is KAMAKABIN's first minimal house that complies with these principles.

WHO IS KAMAKABIN?

Kamakabin GmbH is a young company founded in the summer of 2023. As a team, we focus on being close to nature through minimal living.

WHAT IS THE MISSION OF KAMAKABIN?

The highest possible sustainability and quality should be the basic requirement. That is what we are working on. Low consumption of space and resources, high-quality materials and a high design standard describe our basic principles. First and foremost, we focus on the idea of being close to nature by living in a prefabricated house built of wood.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU HAVE?

Type M KUKIN - Our first minimal house. A weekend house that can be shared, rented or lived in on a daily basis. KUKIN that can be connected with a second KUKIN across the roof. It can be linked together to create a resort. It can be extended, enlarged and downsized, because... - further models are in the planning phase!

WHAT ARE THE DESIGN AND TECHNICAL FEATURES OF KUKIN?

The minimal houses are based on a wooden framework, which is filled with wood fibre insulation. Solid wood is used to finish the walls and to build custom-made cupboard units. Titanium zinc is used for the roofing. In addition, whenever possible on site, only steel foundations are sunk into the ground for KUKIN, so that no unnecessary concrete has to be poured.

WHAT ARE KAMAKABIN'S DESIGN REQIREMENTS?

With the aim of optimising economic and ecological challenges, we engage with the natural environment of each of our minimal houses. KUKIN creates a connection between indoors and outdoors - a folding glas system allows the living space to be opened across its entire width. When the folding system is open, the kitchen unit becomes a kitchen block that can be used from inside and outside.
Our houses should not only be a place of living, but also of togetherness - a small house that wants to be experienced.

KUKIN can be visited during the production process at our partner company in the Netherlands or we will be happy to show you around our show house in Hessen. Please contact us for prior notice and planning.

DO I NEED MY OWN PROPERTY TO BUY A KAMAKABIN?

A property is not absolutely necessary. If you do not have your own land, an area can be leased or perhaps a place can be found on the land of a family member?

HOW DOES THE PURCHASE OF A KAMAKABIN WORK?

If a property is already available and the building law requirements have been clarified, there is nothing to stop you. However, if these are still unclear, we are nevertheless available to support you. Our first consultation is free of charge and without obligation.

WHAT DOES A KAMAKABIN COST?

The price for the basic equipment and the self-equipment of KUKIN starts at 129,000 euros. A fully equipped house is available from 165,000 euros. VAT is not included.
